The company has been accomplishing such goals with a string of U.S. deals over the last several years, including its most recent purchase on Monday of Dominion Technology Resources Inc., a U.S. technology and consultancy firm that serves the intelligence community, for £53 million ($104.5 million) in an all cash deal.
"DTRI brings new customer relationships from within the
U.S. intelligence community and provides us with further growth
opportunities within the broader North American market,"
Qinetiq CEO Graham Love said in the statement.
More deals could be in the pipeline since Qinetiq reportedly set aside £200 million for deals in May and there's more money left in the war chest to expand especially in the U.S. -- Gerald Magpily
