J.P. Morgan schedules late night call; WaMu rumors abound

There's big news on the horizon as J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. has scheduled a conference call for 9:30 EDT this evening. Multiple media outlets indicate that the call will focus on a deal to purchase all or parts of troubled savings and loan Washington Mutual Inc. The Deal will have continuing coverage of the conference call this evening. - George White
