Bully! Lehman employee's wedding goes on

torrye.gifWe were able to scrounge up some small but happy Lehman Brothers Inc. news.

If you read The New York Times Sunday Style section, you may have wondered about Theodore Roosevelt V's wedding to Serena Clare Torrey this Saturday, as was announced in the paper.

Roosevelt, a great-great-grandson of former President Theodore Roosevelt, is a vice president for high-yield bond sales at Lehman Brothers in Manhattan and his father -- Teddy IV -- is a managing director and investment banker at Lehman Brothers in Manhattan.

The Deal called Torrey Funds earlier to check in with James A. Torrey to congratulate him and see if his daughter's wedding went on without any hitches despite boardroom meetings or bankruptcy filings. 

The good news is the only hitch occurred between the bride and groom. Although he wasn't around to talk, his secretary assured The Deal that the wedding went off as planned and both Roosevelt's were able to attend the ceremony in Chappaquiddick, Mass.
