Bank Watch: Stocks end month with a bang

Stocks ended October on an upswing with most banks ending the day in the green. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 144.32 points to 9325.01, the S&P 500 increased 14.66 points to 968.75, and the Nasdaq rose 22.43 points to 1,720.95.
