Bank Watch: Stocks perk up

Stocks perked up at the open Friday morning as investors remain focused on the House revote on the bailout bill. Citigroup Inc. took a hit Friday morning as Wachovia Corp. was snagged by Well Fargo & Co. for $15.1 billion. Citigroup had agreed to acquire the bank with government backing. - Maria Woehr
