Breaking: Wachovia ceasefire extended to Friday

Wells Fargo & Co. and Citigroup Inc.'s litigation ceasefire for the acquisition of Wachovia Corp. has been extended until 8 a.m. Friday, according to MarketWatch. Citigroup is suing Wachovia for $60 billion in damages after Wells Fargo outbid Citigroup's $2.16 billion offer for the bank with a $15.1 billion bid. Citigroup is claiming that it had exclusive rights to the deal. - Maria Woehr
