The 10 members include some veteran dealmakers. They are:
- Stephen Roach, chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia;
- Mervyn Davies, chairman of Standard Chartered plc;
- Victor Fung, chairman of Li & Fung Ltd.;
- Margaret Leung, group general manager and global co-head of commercial banking at HSBC Holdings plc;
- Lawrence Lau, vice chancellor and president of Chinese University of Hong Kong;
- K C Leong; chairman of Roctec Futures Trading Co. Ltd.;
- Ayesha Macpherson, KPMG partner;
- Shih Wing-ching, Centaline (Holdings) Co. Ltd. chairman;
- Patrick
Wang; chairman and CEO of Johnson Electric Holdings Ltd. and chairman of
Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute; and
- Mathias Woo, executive director of Zuni Icosahedron.
David Burton, head of the Asia and Pacific department of the International Monetary Fund, will attend the first meeting.
