Doubledown Media LLC -- publisher of Trader Monthly, Dealmaker, Private Air, Corporate Leader and the Cigar Report -- has stopped its printing press. With its Wall Street target audience dwindling, the New York-based publisher closed its doors Monday following a rocky road over the last year. Company president Randall Lane sent an e-mail to staffers late Monday about the fate of the company.

The latest shutdown is one of a plethora of magazine closings the publishing industry has endured in the wake of this economic downturn.
