Layoff news got you down? Well, unfortunately there's more pink slips on the way. Grab a box of tissues. Here's a roundup of the latest layoff rumors and reports.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) may dole out pink slips this week to Merrill Lynch investment bankers in London, and New York investment bankers could see them next week, according to Dealbreaker.
Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE:COF) is finalizing its $520 million purchase of Chevy Chase Bank, which likely means layoffs ahead as the two banks integrate. However, word is Capital One will only close Chevy Chase branches in overlapping areas, but since there are few directly competing branches, layoffs probably will be limited.
