At the TMA/The Deal's Distressed Investing Conference in January, Cerberus Capital Management LP's Kevin Cross said, "The distressed financing markets themselves are distressed." He added that most distressed lenders are looking at the secondary market, but the primary market is full of opportunities and lenders are underwriting using unique structures. - Maria Woehr
