Unfortunately, more layoff announcements came on Monday.

Here are the latest rumors and reports:

UBS has axed a team of six private bankers in Singapore who were managing wealth for Turkish clients, according to Reuters.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., UBS Wealth Management is reportedly starting to sell off branches, with an announcement expected 'shortly' in Chicago, according to Dealbreaker's mailbag.

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group is cutting 1,000 jobs and will close 50 branches over three years.

It's rough out there, but there are jobs. For the latest job postings, check out TheDeal.com's Career Center.

Here's the JOB OF THE DAY: Deal Executive in Los Angeles, Calif.
