Standard Chartered plc plans to hire more senior managers and private bankers this year.
The bank is "aggressively hiring" relationship managers for its private banking business, according to
Bloomberg.
The bank is in a unique position in that it is one of few that has

acquisitions in Asia, Africa and the Middle East, said CEO Peter Sands.
Standard Chartered has been adding members to its senior consumer banking management team, and in early March the bank announced it was increasing the number of sub-branches in China this year from
11 to 15. -
