Mickey Mouse meets Wall Street

Mickey Mouse125.pngYou know things are bad when it become necessary to explain terms like "bailout" and "credit default swap" to small children, but since we may be at that point, Mickey Mouse is stepping in to help out. The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS) is planning to open an exhibit dubbed "The Great Piggy Bank Adventure" at its Epcot Center theme park in Disney World.

Sponsored by T. Rowe Price, the interactive exhibit will focus on "basic saving and investing concepts" and teach families the importance of saving and how to manage money responsibly." If the exhibit is done well, Uncle Sam might consider sending executives from bailed-out firms to check it out. - George White
