More pink slips are being doled out Wednesday at UBS (NYSE:UBS), T.Rowe Price Group (NASDAQ:TROW) and other banks.
- UBS has begun to lay off some financial advisers in its U.S. wealth management business with less than $250,000 in annual production. Financial advisers were notified of job cuts earlier this week, while others will be told in the next few days. Overall, UBS plans to cut roughly 2,000 jobs in its U.S. wealth management business, according to The Wall Street Journal.
- Sovereign Bank has laid off 50 employees in its human resources department, according to the Boston Herald.
