Duff & Phelps yields more for sponsors

Duff & Phelps Corp. raised $97.5 million in a public offering of Class A common shares Wednesday, more than half of which will be funneled to the two private equity firms that have long controlled it.

The New York-based financial services company said it will use $51.6 million of the proceeds to redeem a portion of the Class A units held by Vestar Capital Partners and Lovell Minnick Partners LLC.
