Hearing sheds new light on Chrysler's deal with Fiat

Posted on May 28, 2009 2:15 PM
New details have emerged about Chrysler LLC's sale to Italy's Fiat SpA and the dismissive attitude of Obama administration officials toward the automaker's management and advisers in a 10-hour hearing on Wednesday.

Judge Arthur Gonzalez of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York in Manhattan adjourned the sale hearing Wednesday night and reconvened it Thursday morning, holding out the possibility that it may even extend into Friday. Only three people had testified during the hearing.
