Soho House dresses down bankers

Another reason why the banker suit is dead. Apparently, Soho House has instituted a "no suit" rule to reduce the number of bankers attending the members-only club.

According to Gawker, the club's owners back in March decided not to renew bankers' memberships in order to return to their, eh hem, "artsy roots." Oh well, time for those rock star clothes or to just find a different bar for Friday nights. There are plenty of bars in NYC that cater to the more commerce-y crowd. - Maria Woehr
