French nuclear engineering giant Areva SA is expected to put its transmission and distribution business up for sale to finance new investment, after a board meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
The unit, which operates much of France's electricity grid, could pull in between €3 billion and €5 billion ($4.2 billion and $7 billion), according to analysts.
