So far the financial industry has seen 383,661 job cuts since August 2007, according to
Reuters. Unfortunately, some more reports and rumors of layoffs in the finance industry are coming out. The latest include:
Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) will lay off 81 employees in Tampa, Fla., between August and November, according to the
Tampa Bay Business Journal.
Beverly National Bank is merging with Danversbank later this year, resulting in branch closures and
possible layoffs, according to Wicked Local Middleton, a Massachusetts online news site.
It's a tough employment market for
financial professionals, but
there are
jobs. In fact, there are
