for a job in the financial sector.
- Cantor Fitzgerald plans to hire 100 staff in fixed income in Europe in the coming year. The firm will hire 50 people in Europe in the next 12 months and 25 to 30 employees in Asia, according to Bloomberg.
- Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (NYSE:RBS) is in the process of expanding its equity sales and equity capital markets team. The bank recently added 10 people to its staff, according to Dow Jones.
- Collins Stewart, Evolution, Mint, Panmure Gordon, Newedge and Conduit Capital Markets are recruiting fixed-income flow traders, according to eFinancial Careers.
- Several PE firms are also looking to beef up. Dow Jones Financial News is reporting that California Public Employees' Retirement System is searching for three private equity professionals. The report also says USS and Silverfleet Capital will be hiring.
