Hiring: Morgan Stanley and Macquarie Capital

Although the investment banking industry continues to restructure, job  openings are still being created. Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) is looking for a senior associate in its banking division in Chicago, according to The Deal's Career Center through our partner eFinanceCareers. That's good news for job seekers in the seemingly shrinking investment banking sector. The hiring corresponds with a recent Deal post that found evidence that former giant investment banks such as Morgan Stanley haven't lost share to boutique banks since the major shakeup of the investment banking sector last year.

Meanwhile, Macquarie Capital Advisory Opportunities is looking for a vice president for its diversified industries group in its New York office. The unit of Australian conglomerate Macquarie Group Ltd. (NYSE:MIC) made headlines earlier this month when it raised A$1.2 billion ($969.3 million). - Gerald Magpily
