Horlick may make hostile bid for Bramdean

Bramdean Alternatives Ltd. founder Nicola Horlick is preparing a hostile bid for the battered hedge fund after its directors rebuffed her proposal and ended discussions.

The private equity investor has been on the defensive since December, when it revealed that funds representing 9.5% of its asset value were invested with Bernard Madoff.
