boonepickens125x100.jpgAre you missing a piece of your driveway in front of your home? No? Well, David McCart is.

He bought a house in Holdenville, Okla., that used to be owned by oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens' grandmother. Pickens had many fond memories at that home, including etching his name into wet concrete in the driveway.

But on June 22, McCart noticed that a three-by-five-foot area in his driveway was missing along with Pickens' signature. Apparently, the billionaire was so attached to the driveway he decided to dig up the slab and replace the concrete, according to The Washington Post.

Holdenville Police Chief Jerry Young, who would make a decision about recommending charges, didn't immediately return a call for comment.

Neighbors told McCart three men in a truck with Texas tags used cement saws and pry bars to remove the slab last month and loaded it into the truck bed. The house currently is vacant, but McCart said he planned to rent it out.

Do you think there are any other driveways Pickens etched his name into as a kid that he might be collecting soon? - Maria Woehr

If Pickens had just asked permission and paid the current homeowner a few bucks he could have avoided all the embarrassment that is to come.

Imagine a billionaire trespasser and vandal. Tisk, tisk, tisk…
