The Deal's David Carey to appear on CNBC

The Deal's senior writer David Carey will appear Friday on CNBC's "Power Lunch" to discuss the buyout market and The Deal's current cover story, Private equity deals of the year (from the July 6-July 19 issue).

"There are some opportunities overseas, but trading in the buyout market is frozen because valuations are too high for the tastes of PE buyers, and leverage is not available," Carey explains.
