Finance Layoffs: Wells Fargo and BBVA

pinkslips_transparent_125x100.gifBad news for those in the finance industry. The latest reports and rumors of layoffs are at Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE:WFC) and BBVA Compass Bank.


  • BBVA Compass Bank will lay off 35 employees in Decatur,Alabama., by the end of the year, according to WVUA-TV.

That's not Decatur, GA. Compass doesn't have any branches in Georgia. It's Decatur, AL. And the article doesn't even mention a state, why would you make that assumption? I guess, if you are going to report the news, just the facts, ma'am.
