Yahoo! Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., has placed its small business hosting division on the block and seeks bids between $350 million and $500 million. The move is the latest in a batch of Yahoo! auctions aimed at shedding the company's noncore assets.

Yahoo! is amid a strategic shift to a more consumer- and advertising-focused brand that began when chief executive Carol Bartz took charge in January.
