UBS' (NYSE:UBS) new head of wealth management in the Americas, Robert McCann, had an interview on Bloomberg Television his first day on the job.
But the interview wasn't the difficult part for McCann, who has to basically bring the wealth unit back from the dead. McCann believes UBS Wealth Management Americas is not being gussied for a spinoff, and he's looking to change the culture internally, saying his company won't pay top dollar for talent but will focus on retaining staff.
