At the Association for Corporate Growth’s 36th annual InterGrowth conference in Phoenix, Ariz., at The Biltmore from May 2 to May 4, 2007, The Deal’s Kelly Holman will cover the conference’s private equity and M&A sessions.
Billed as ACG’s largest conference to date with more than 1,600 movers and shakers in the deal community expected to attend the two-and-a-half day event, this year’s conference will feature a variety of high-profile speakers, including
- Tom Ridge, the nation’s first secretary of the Office of Homeland Security
-
General Barry McCaffrey (Ret.)
- Jeffrey Taylor, founder and former chief executive of Monster.com
Panelists will discuss issues that are germane to today’s dealmaking world, including the capital markets and “The Changing Faces of the Deal World,” “Bringing the Monster Idea to Life,” sourcing transactions, the 2008 presidential elections, strategies for strategic buyers in auctions and how to avoid auctions, along with sessions by corporate executives and institutional investors.
As par for the course at ACG’s Scottsdale events (no pun intended), attendees are invited to partake in premier golf outings at local courses and special events ACG has arranged for the evening.
