Italian businessman and a "once-upon-a-time" long-time boyfriend of actress Anne Hathaway was arrested on charges of operating a fraudulent real estate scheme. Reuters reports that Raffaello Follieri convinced investors that he had ties with the Vatican that allowed him to purchase the Catholic Church's unwanted U.S. real estate properties at a discount.
