Aerospace firm General Dynamics Corp. moved deeper into the corporate jet market Tuesday, striking a deal to buy Jet Aviation of Switzerland from its private equity owners for Sfr2.45 billion ($2.25 billion). The Zurich-based target provides maintenance, overhaul and refurbishment services for corporate jets through 25 airport facilities in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. London buyout shop Permira now owns the company, having bought the company from its Swiss owners in August 2005.
