For those of you thinking that the Pfizer Inc. deal for Wyeth means that Wall Street or investment banking is back, well, au contraire. There aren't many companies with the recession-resistant cash flow of Pfizer, and with its need to buy. Yes, it's a good sign that banks are willing to finance the big deal, but it shows only that they're not dead yet, not that animal spirits are loose.
