Google dumps Accel Partners in Davos

First Always On, now Accel Partners. For the first time, Google is forgoing the help of a co-sponsor and hosting its own bash at the World Economic Forum in Davos this week, reports The New York Times' Andrew Ross Sorkin.

It's not as if the Internet giant ever needed help underwriting the event. But, for whatever reason, this Friday night, Google will go it alone.
