30 funded CDNs and counting... analyst predicts shakeout

Dan Rayburn has compliled a list of more than 30 content delivery networks that have raised private or public financing in the past 12 months. Despite the evidence in front of them, he notes that venture capitalists will likely invest in Panther Express, Pando Networks and BitGravity in the coming months.

On his Business of Online Video blog, Rayburn rightly concludes that the market cannot support so many CDN companies and a shakeout is coming. Here's his list of the affected CDNs: - Joshua Jaffe
