Appnomic raises $4.2M

Infrastructure management services startup Appnomic Systems has raised its first institutional money, a $4.2 million investment from Norwest Venture Partners.

Based in Bangalore, India, Appnomic offers application performance management and other IT management. The company claims that 70% to 75% of companies' growing IT management needs can be offshored.

As part of the announcement, Appnomic said Promod Haque of Norwest Venture Partners has joined the company's board. - Olaf de Senerpont Domis
