In a fresh twist on raising capital, a new web site hopes to become the online dating destination for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists. Got a great idea for a business? You can post the equivalent of a personal ad on RaiseCapital.com and hope some generous VC will make you a lucky CEO. Entrepreneurs pay a monthly fee to describe their business ideas and outline their capital needs: $29.95 if you can confine yourself to text, $49,95, if you want to post a splashy video clip. VCs pay nothing to register. "For Papa, make him a scholar. For Mama, make him rich as a king..."
