Bessemer trains portfolio companies in SEO and SEM

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

Bessemer Venture Partners recently brought about 25 of its portfolio company executives together to learn how best to utilize search engine optimization and marketing tools for their companies. It highlights the increased importance venture capitalists are placing on such marketing strategies.

Presenters included representatives from online marketing consultant Did-it.com, online marketing agency Bloofusion, healthcare shopping company Vimo, analysis software maker Endeca Technologies, and social browser startup Flock.

And the one-day seminar held at Spago's in Palo Alto wasn't just for consumer Internet companies. Bessember-funded wireless networking company Zensys and semiconcutor company Summit Microelectronics were in attendance.
