Hear 9 startups pitch 3 VCs tonight

Share     E-Mail    Discussion (1)     Print Story
I'm sure that some of this evening will be painful. Nine entrepreneurs will pitch three venture capitalists at the VC Taskforce Elevator Pitch Roundtable in Palo Alto. There are bound to be some poorly received companies. I already think I know which ones those will be, but I will reserve judgment until I listen to all the pitches. The brave startups presenting are Evenience, Movie Crazy, CYC Biz, Cruxle, PredictWallStreet, TextDigger, JIB Enterprises, Social Walla and Vezoom.

The four panelists that have to diplomatically wade through the entrants are:
  • Gary Benton - Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman
  • John Steuart -  Managing Director at Claremont Creek Ventures
  • Eric Buatois - General Partner at Sofinnova Ventures
  • Chris Albinson - Managing Director at Panorama Capital
Last week's VC Tasforce event was entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Hopefully, tonight will shed light on a promising startup or two. - Joshua Jaffe
