Expressor Software integrating fresh $10M

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

expressor.gifExpressor Software Corp., a maker of semantic data integration software, on Wednesday announced it raised $10 million in a Series B round of funding. The round was led by Commonwealth Capital Partners with participation from existing investors Globespan Capital Partners and Sigma Partners. Those firms invested $7.5 million in the company in 2007.

Expressor claims it is "redefining data integration via an active, semantic-driven metadata repository approach." In simpler terms, its software automates data integration projects. Expressor said it will use the funding to further develop its next-generation data integration platform and to expand its sales and marketing teams and product support. - David Shabelman
