Viacom about to buy Last.fm? Not for $450 million

DealBreaker is reporting that Viacom is in talks to purchase Last.fm for $450 million. I gave Last.fm an overall VC Rating of 8 back in May so I think the company has a bright future. But, I, nor should anyone else, like it this much.

Neither side is talking. I don't doubt Viacom's interest in Index Ventures-backed Last.fm. But, I think the "music business source familar with the negotiations" that DealBreaker attributed the $450 million figure to, added one too many zeros in their report.
