Nokia pumps up VC arm with $150M

Nokia Oyj [NOK] on Thursday, July 31, stepped up its venture investing to get a better foothold in upstart companies in the explosive markets of China and India.

The Finnish wireless telecom said it would pump $150 million into its Nokia Growth Partners, boosting cash under management at its private equity wing to $250 million.
