ShoZu
London-based ShoZu Inc., a provider of mobile social media services for exchanging content between mobile phones and Web-based social media sites, has closed a $12 million Series C round. The financing was led by new investor SEB Venture Capital, the London-based venture capital arm of Swedish financial services firm Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken. Previous investors Atlas Venture of Waltham, Mass., Crescendo Ventures of Palo Alto, Calif., and TTP Ventures of Melbourn, U.K., also participated. The company expects its application will ship pre-installed on more than 50 million mobile phones in 2008, with an additional 100,000 users currently downloading the application every month. ShoZu has pre-installation agreements with Motorola and Samsung. The company's "Share-It" service enables mobile users to maintain contact with their Web-based social networks, personal blogs, photo/video sharing sites and other social media with a few clicks. -- G.W.

StyleFeeder
Cambridge, Mass.-based StyleFeeder, a personal shopping application on Facebook, has secured $2 million in Series A financing from Highland Capital Partners of Lexington, Mass., and Schooner Capital of Boston. The company received seed financing last year and now claims to be the largest shopping application on Facebook, with more than 500,000 users. The company will use the capital to expand its team and to grow its consumer base. StyleFeeder's personal shopping recommendation engine learns a user's sense of style, and then helps the shopper discover new products and other people who share their tastes. -- G.W.

XAware
Data and application integration company XAware Inc. of Colorado Springs, Colo., has completed a $7.4 million venture funding to power the growth of its open-source business model. The round was led by vSpring Capital of Salt Lake City, joined by Atlanta hedge fund GMT Capital and existing investors Sequel Ventures of Boulder, Colo., ITU Ventures of Los Angeles and BMJP LLC. XAware makes open-source software for enterprises designed to decrease development and testing time and provides re-usable data components for future projects. -- G.W.
