If you're like me and think Memeorandum is changing the way people consume information, then you'll want to read search authority Danny Sullivan's interview with TechMeme creator Gabe Rivera.

I'm convinced Google will acquire TechMeme soon for what people will consider to be a shocking amount. While it fits the profile, this is no Writely. As someone who I can't remember right now said, "It's what Google News should have been." Sullivan asked Rivera about a possible sale:

Q. Why not sell up or work for a larger company?

A: I'm not sure there's a larger company that sees eye to eye with me about where all this is headed or where the value is and isn't, to be perfectly vague. Probably the biggest reason though: I nap after lunch, unconditionally, and most big companies can't accommodate this need nearly as well as my own.
