BlackArrow gets $20M for targeted video ads

blackarrow.gifBlackArrow Inc., which offers an advertising platform that places ads in broadband, video-on-demand and digital video recorder environments, has pulled in a sizable round from a group of big-name previous investors.

The dynamic cable advertising startup said Monday it has secured $20 million from Cisco Systems Inc., Comcast Interactive Capital, Intel Capital, Mayfield Fund and Polaris Venture Partners, bringing its total funding to $38 million.

The deal follows a $12 million Series B a year ago from the same investors. - Olaf de Senerpont Domis
