Oversee.net lands $150M private equity funding

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

oversee1.jpg Oversee.net, an online marketing services provider, announced Tuesday that it received a $150 million investment from Oak Hill Capital Partners.

Oversee didn't divulge many details about the financing, the company's first outside investment round, but the provider of domain name monetization services is likely to use the funding to continue building its online marketing offerings through acquisitions.

Last year it acquired domain name tracker SnapNames and earlier this month bought Moniker, a domain name register, broker and auctioneer. The Los Angeles-based company didn't disclose terms for either deal.

Founded in 2000, Oversee.net has about 150 employees. The investment is set to close by the end of this month. For further details, visit Tech Confidential Tuesday afternoon. - Olaf de Senerpont Domis
