The new fund-of-funds, dubbed the CVE-Kauffman Fellows Endowment Fund, had targeted a $250 million closing and was completed in seven months, TrueBridge said. The fund has partnered with the Center for Venture Education, which runs the Kauffman Foundation's venture fellows program. The program places budding VCs in two-year apprenticeships at venture firms. The new fund said it would use CVE's ties to gain access to funds where other limited partners can't.
