VentureLoop expands job listings to cleantech

  Share     E-Mail    Discussion    Print Story

Employment listings site VentureLoop, which specalizes in posting job openings at venture-backed companies, is hoping to piggyback on the growth in cleantech funding while focusing its offerings. It has launched a new CleanLoop site exclusively listing jobs in emerging solar, alternative fuels, advanced materials and software technology companies.

VentureLoop cites PricewaterhouseCoopers MoneyTree statistics reporting the 45% increase in funding for cleantech companies this year over last year, and hopes the new site will expand the universe of more than 600 companies it already posts jobs for. To inaugurate the site, the San Francisco-based company will offer free posting during its beta testing phase June through August, and will also allow job seekers to receive a free newsletter aggregating industry articles and blog postings about the cleantech sector. -- Clifford Carlsen
