Internet Seatwave European secondary ticket exchange startup Seatwave has closed a $25 million Series C venture funding. The London company tapped new investor Fidelity Ventures of Boston to lead a third round that gives it $36 million in financing since its founding in April 2006. Also participating in the round were insiders Atlas Venture of Waltham, Mass., Mangrove Capital Partners of Luxembourg and Adinvest of Zurich. Seatwave plans to use the proceeds to accelerate expansion of its secondary ticket buying and selling services in the U.K., Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. -- George White Lotame New York social media advertising startup Lotame Solutions has closed a Series A financing led by Battery Ventures of Boston. Also participating are investors Hillcrest Management and Betaworks, both of New York. Published reports put the size of the round at $10 million. Lotame's technology aggregates data across multiple social networking sites, allowing advertisers to identify targeted and customizable audiences. Roger Lee and Satya Patel, both of Battery Ventures, will join Lotame's board. -- G.W. Wireless Vaultus Boston's Vaultus Mobile Technologies Inc., a developer of technology to extend business applications to handheld devices, has closed a $6 million expansion round. Point Judith Capital of Providence, R.I., led the funding with participation from Susquehanna International Group of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., and IDG Ventures of Boston. The funding enables the company to expand its sales and partnership channels. Founded in 2000, Vaultus works with companies in the financial services, healthcare and retail sectors. -- G.W. Wireless equipment Freedom4 Intel Capital of Santa Clara, Calif., has invested an undisclosed amount in London-based WiMax company Freedom4 Ltd., formerly Pipex Wireless Ltd. Also participating is parent company Pipex Communications plc. Intel and Freedom4 will collaborate to the deployment of WiMax networks in the U.K. -- G.W. Semiconductors Seuquans French WiMax semiconductor company Sequans Communications has raised $28 million in a mix of equity and convertible debt financing. The equity portion was led by Switzerland's Swisscom AG and Reliance Technology Ventures, the venture arm of India's Reliance ADA Group. CDC Enterprises also contributed. The debt came from Natixis Global Asset Management of Paris. In July 2006, the Paris-based company secured a $24 million third round from Kennet Venture Partners and Add Partners Ltd., both of London; T-Source of Versailles, France; Société Générale Asset Management and Cap Décisif, both of Paris; and Vision Capital of Burlingame, Calif. -- G.W. Healthcare PolyRemedy Mountain View, Calif., healthcare robotics developer PolyRemedy Inc. has raised $25 million in a Series B round to advance a wound-care system that combines software, hardware and proprietary nanoscale materials to deliver a cheaper, more effective way of treating chronic tissue ulcers. The four-year-old company landed Advanced Technology Ventures of Palo Alto, Calif., and IDG Ventures of Boston as lead investors in the round, along with Harris & Harris Group of New York as a new investor, joined by first-round backer MedVenture Associates of Emeryville, Calif., bringing total venture investment in PolyRemedy to $29 million. The deal is expected to support a commercial launch of its products in 2009. -- Clifford Carlsen Venture funds HRJ Capital San Francisco's HRJ Capital has closed its fifth venture capital fund-of-funds with $273 million in commitments.
