Kenneth Klee leads editorial operations for Corporate Dealmaker, launched by The Deal LLC in November 2003. A blog and quarterly report published in The Deal, Corporate Dealmaker provides a deeper understanding and a unique perspective on the trends that drive corporate growth.
Klee's previous editorial post was at Newsweek International, where he oversaw the magazine's business section as a senior editor. He wrote on international business topics for Newsweek's domestic and international editions and orchestrated various special sections on international economic and business trends. For much of the 1990's, Klee was the managing editor of Institutional Investor's international editions, responsible for coverage in Europe and Asia. He began his tenure at Institutional Investor in 1987 as a senior editor focused on commercial banking and Wall Street.
Klee started his journalism career at Forbes, working on the copy desk. Shortly thereafter, he moved to a technology publication, Datamation, as features editor and later to Venture Magazine as managing editor. Klee earned a bachelors of arts degree in English literature from the University of Wisconsin.

Frank Aquila has been a partner in Sullivan & Cromwell's Mergers & Acquisitions Group since 1992. He specializes in handling mergers and acquisitions, takeover defense, strategic alliances and corporate governance matters for a broad range of clients.
Mr. Aquila serves as regular advisor to global leaders such as Amgen, British Airways, Diageo and Anheuser-Busch InBev. He has represented Amgen, the world's largest biotech, in its acquisitions of Abgenix, Alantos Pharmaceuticals, Avidia and Ilypsa and their collaborations with Kirin and Takeda. Over the last decade, he has represented Diageo, the top premium drinks company, in many significant transactions, including its sale of Burger King Corporation to an investor group led by Texas Pacific Group and the merger of Pillsbury with General Mills; its acquisitions of Seagram Wines and Spirits, The Chalone Wine Group and Rosenblum Cellars; the restructuring of its U.S. joint venture arrangements with Moët Hennessy, and their joint venture with respect to Ketel One Vodka, among many others. Mr. Aquila has represented British Airways in numerous transactions over the last 20 years, including its pending joint venture with American Airlines and Iberia and its proposed combination with Iberia. Mr. Aquila represented InBev in its unsolicited acquisition of Anheuser-Busch to form Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewer.

David Siegel is the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development for 1-800-Flowers.com. In this position he oversees strategic planning, business and corporate development, 3rd party marketing and enterprise partnerships across the organizations 12 e-commerce brands in the floral, gourmet food and gift basket, and home and children's divisions. Previous to this position he served as a General Manager of New Businesses, at Duane Reade where he built a new $20 Million sales channel. Prior to Duane Reade he worked as a strategy consultant for Deloitte Consulting and William M. Mercer. He was also previously the Director, Organizational Development for DoubleClick. David has a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School.
DAVID TETEN CEO Teten Advisors
David Teten is CEO of Teten Advisors, which specializes in advising private equity and venture capital funds on accelerating deal flow, portfolio company executive optimization and recruiting, and due diligence. He is currently wrapping up a large research project on best practices in venture capital/private equity deal origination.
David was most recently a Managing Director with Evalueserve, a global research and analytics company. He was previously Founder and CEO of Circle of Experts, an investment research firm acquired by Evalueserve.
David was formerly Founder and CEO of Teten Recruiting, an executive recruiting firm acquired by Accolo, #42 on the 2007 Inc. 500 list. He was also formerly Founder and CEO of an investment bank focusing on serving the internet domain name asset class, which he built to 450 customers. He worked with Bear Stearns' Investment Banking division as a member of their technology/defense mergers and acquisitions team, and was a strategy consultant with Mars & Co. David holds a Harvard MBA and a Yale BA, both with honors.
David is a frequent keynote speaker to audiences such as Franklin Templeton (keynote at internal training); Association for Corporate Growth; the Vistage CEO Community; Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors; Kauffman Fellows program; CFA Institute; and IRC Alternative Investment Summit. He has twice received the highest ratings of any speaker at a conference.
David is the lead author of The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online, with Scott Allen. The Virtual Handshake is the first business book about how you can originate investment opportunities, raise capital, and win new clients with online networks, blogs, and other Web 2.0 technologies. David sits on the Advisory Boards of Accolo, Grouply, Dancetime Publications, and the Word of Mouth Marketing Association.
