Jefferies & Co. added Andrew Peisch to its fixed-income division as a managing director and co-head of mortgage- and asset-backed securities banking and origination. He was a managing director and head of structured credit products banking and origination for the Americas at Deutsche Bank AG, where he spent six years. Peisch co-heads the group alongside Adam Smith. They report to Johan Eveland and William Jennings II, co-heads of the MBS and ABS group.

Earlier, Peisch led the MBS/ABS effort at Prudential Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch & Co.

Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. said James Cassel, vice chairman and co-head of investment banking at its subsidiary, Ladenburg Thalmann & Co., was named vice president of Americas at M&A International Inc.
