New York-based Asset Management Finance LLC named Brian Finn CEO, succeeding Norton Reamer,
who is now vice chairman and founder. Reamer had been CEO of AMF since
its founding in 2003. Finn (pictured) has served as chairman of AMF since August
2008 when Credit Suisse Group purchased a majority interest in
AMF. Finn will no longer be chairman of alternative investments with
Credit Suisse's asset management business but will be a senior adviser.
Before joining Clayton, Dubilier & Rice Inc. in 1997, where he stayed for five years, Finn was with CS for 15 years, advising corporate clients, and was a managing director and co-head of mergers and acquisitions. Before he established AMF, Reamer was founder, chairman and CEO of United Asset Management Corp. from its inception in 1980 until its sale in September 2000 to Old Mutual plc. Previously, he was CEO and president of Putnam Investments in Boston. He joined Putnam in 1967.
